Fortunately, its editors are quite eclectic in their interests, and although GUTenberg itself is a \TeX\ group, their net is cast wider, to include \sgml, database publishing, \PS, and almost anything which can reasonably be considered of interest to the \TeX\ community (French speaking or not). In order to widen the awareness of the contents of the Cahiers, the following abstracts\slash summaries\slash resum\'ees are provided for number zero, published last year. Similar information for numbers one and two will follow. \paper{Le traitement des textes Polonais avec le logiciel \TeX}{Hanna Kolodziejska}:0,3--10. The paper present some of the difficulties of using \TeX\ for Polish texts, difficulties which are bound up with diacritical marks, with word division, and with certain peculiarities of Polish typography. \paper{La Publication assist\'ee au CIRC\'E}{Bernard Gaulle}:0,11--16. CIRCE offers two complementary systems for computer aided publishing. One is based on \TeX, the other on standard IBM products, namely DCF. The object of this article is to describe the advantages and disadvantages of each, in particular during the phase of learning, and of using the products. A particular emphasis is placed on the ability to work with an IBM personal computer. \paper{Une exp\'erience d'utilisation de \LaTeXsl: le rapport d'activiti\'e de l'INRIA}{Philippe Loaurn}:0, 17--24. This paper presents an account of the experiences in using \LaTeX\ on a large project -- INRIA's report of its activities. This is an extensive project in more than one way: it has more than a thousand pages; contributions are obtained from all over France; and from all sorts of equipment. Lastly, the document itself is complex, comprising tables, mathematics, graphics, etc\dots \paper{\TeX\ et L'imprimerie}{Maurice Laugier}:0,25--29. \TeX\ supplies typographic quality to typesetting. It remains to improve the definition of the reproduction of characters. We have therefore created a \TeX-\MF-\PS interface to provide a definition of 1270\,dpi. \TeX\ joins the professional tools of photocomposition, and may be compared with other facilities we have, and others which are available commercially. \paper{Vous avez dit pol\'emique}{Michel Dreyfus \& Bernard Gaulle}:0,32--36. [Two parallel texts, the one `Profits Abusifs par Ordinateur' (or, approximately `Excessive benefits (claimed) by computer), the other a response `Publication Assist\'ee par Ordinateur' (or, again approximately, DTP).] \author{Malcolm Clark}
